So Alexa has been sick over the weekend, complaining of a sore throat--think it's strep. So she stays home from school on Monday, take her to the doctor...doctor is completely convinced that it's strep. First rapid strep test comes back negative. The doctor is convinced the culture test will come back positive and thinks Alexa should be on antibiotics. Well in about 30 minutes it will have been 48 hours since the test...in which they are supposed to call be back either way to tell me if it's positive or negative. This scenerio has happened SEVERAL times before with Alexa and each time the doctors are WRONG.
Anyway...the whole thing has messed with my mind on what day it is. Totally slacked on the blogging thing.
Ebay stuff...not selling too good. Need to post the "good stuff" although the pbk stuff is good.
OK the basement...doing better. Need to find a place to drop off donations.
Here's a question for you...what's your definition of a productive weekend? Last weekend Nate's definition was to sit and do nothing all day. That is IMPOSSIBLE for me. Seriously. I have to be working to get something done...Nate says I don't know how to relax. That's probably true. But it's because I have to OVER compensate for his lack of productive use of time. Here's an example...my definition of a Sunday afternoon nap--1, maybe 1 1/2 hours. Nate's definition...I kid you not 3-4 HOURS. That's like half of a working day! there is STUFF to DO. (OK maybe not working stuff to do on Sunday....but still!) He definately works hard during the week, so I know that he's tired. During the week we're lucky if he gets home before 10pm on a regular basis. Hence my desire to use his 'at home' status on the weekends.
A couple Thursday's back he did stay home a couple hours in the morning to try and make a snowman with the girls in the front yard. Here's some pics. Natalie is the only one who really became a snowman! :o) The snow was too dry to stick together so they made snow angels instead.
In case anyone is wondering...the canvas art is still sitting on my desk...waiting. And I'll be posting an AWESOME picture of the most beautifully organized kitchen pantry you've ever seen! ;) (wink)
cute pics...
i can't nap that long either on the w/e.
have to get things done and if i don't feel like i haven't had a productive w/e.
