Twin babies

Here's the album for the twin babies I did. So funny trying to work with twins. I thought the color was a bit funky so I stuck with B&W...my favorite anyway for babies.

Chicken Pox --YEAH!

Yes, you read correctly! Aside from the fact that I myself am sick (and have been for the past 4 days) I'm thrilled that Natalie has the Chicken Pox!

I (we) are of the opinion that the chicken pox vaccine is completely worthless. First of all, Alexa got the chicken pox when she was 15 months from someone who HAD the vaccine. Second, the vaccine hadn't been around long enough to know wheather or not kids needed a booster shot--since some vaccines require booster shots (because they start to wear off) if the Chicken pox vaccine needed a booster they wouldn't know it until the child was an adult getting chicken pox...MUCH more dangerous. Well guess what? Doctors are now starting to administer booster shots for the chicken pox vaccine...Hmm because it didn't work like you thought?

In the mean time Doctors like to scare people by saying "but if they do get chicken pox it will be a much milder case...because there have been cases where children are hospitalized and even die"  First of all those statistics are very LOW and the children didn't die from chicken pox itself, they died from complications of infection. I'd love to know the economic status of those families because it's MUCH less likely for an educated family with the means to bathe their children in oatmeal baths twice a day to end up in the hospital. And as far as 'milder' case both Alexa and Natalie have been fairly mild...they'll be fine.

Anyway, that's my soap box about chicken pox. I have several friends who are planning play dates with Natalie because they too would rather have their children obtain a natural anti-body than to mess with the falsehood of the vaccine. And we're doing everything we can to make sure Brinley is next! :o)

Until then...here's miss Nattles happy as a lark in her first oatmeal bath! (OK so she's not so happy that I was taking pictures...but once she saw her spots in the camera she started giggling)

YEAH for Natalie!

So surprisingly potty training has gone quite well...so far yesterday and today have been accident FREE. She's been the most successful potty trainee I've had! Even being proactive about telling me that she needs to go...and going into the bathroom by herself...telling me to "wait here"

Although we're only successful so far with the pee...she waits to take care of other business when I put her diaper on  for naps.  But still...we're doing good! We'll see how we do tomorrow when I need to run errands and tomorrow night when we have to go to a hockey game. THAT should be interesting...then of course there's church on Sunday. Maybe I shouldn't get too excited.

Here's one of about 10 DARLING pics I just took...still proofing more... and in other news....the gym finally opened. It's been open since Monday but I just went for the first time this morning because the girls didn't have school today. I'm trying to ease myself into the 5:15 wake up call I'm going to have to go through in order to get my work outs in....I've been working out in the basement for the past few weeks. But yes, after this morning...I'm sore. And it's only going to get worse.

Happy Valentines Day

Well I see it's been a while since I posted...how lame of me. The kids were excited to take their valentines to school today. 

Natalie has been ATTEMPTING to potty train. Not sure who's the one NOT ready for this...her or me. She was doing so great this morning and then at lunch peed all over herself and the chair she was sitting in. UGH!

I did another TWINS session last week...here's one of my favorites..it just makes me laugh...can't you just feel the chaos of twins right through this image?
