So it's been a while since I posted--I even missed posting on my BIRTHDAY! (the 3rd)
kiddos have been sick, seriously annoying. Brinley was sick the ENTIRE spring break and the day they were supposed to go back, Alexa got sick for two days (Mon. and Tues.) Then Wednesday they call me because Brinley is in the health room. I know the lady that was making the call...I told her I wasn't going to get her, I was tired of my kids being home sick. She laughed. She sent Brinley back to class but an hour later she was in the health room again. So I brought her home. It was soccer day and Alexa had already missed on Monday...can't even start counting how many times Brinley has missed...so we left early to go to soccer practice so we could all get our hair cut by the famous "Miss Ashley." Soccer is about 20 minutes away so it was a drive, Brinley wasn't doing too bad so I thought she'd be OK...I also thought maybe this was all just because Alexa had been sick. About 2 minutes before reaching the salon Brinley lost everything in her stomach...luckily she'd brought a bowl for herself "just in case" (THANK YOU Brinley...she did that all on her own) needless to say she stayed in the car while we got our hair cut with me going back and forth to check on her.
But in all the craziness I COMPLETELY forgot that Alexa had piano lessons. SOOO frustrating.
We hunted for Easter eggs in the snow...yes the snow. It's supposed to snow/rain more today...we can only hope soccer games will be cancelled.
I've made progress in the basement, although I'm ready to just throw everything else OUT. If Nate was on board I really think I'd do it.
But I met a lady at Target today who was talking about scrapbooking...I told her I had ALL kinds of stuff she could buy.
I can't even remember the last time I did a scrapbook page. I guess after my experience with what F&W thinks is appropriate in the treatment of their authors it wasn't worth it any more. I'd warn anyone who gets involved with Memory Makers...it's not the same magazine, it's not the same people, be prepared. Be warned.
So hopefully she'll want to buy some supplies...it's all new or nearly new...it would get rid of a bunch of the basement clutter. I gave her my photo business card that has this blog address on it....so maybe she's reading? ;)
Tomorrow is filled with soccer games, birthday parties, two major homework projects that are due on Monday and Nate gone for the weekend (home at night) to a chiro continuing education seminar. Joy.
I think Michelle is dead...are you reading this Michelle? I'm worried about you.
My friend Kara had her baby! Yeah! She didn't have time to go to the hospital so her little bambino was born at home. crazy. Welcome my friend, to the life of 3. I won't plan on chatting with you for six months.. ;)
Where's the cleaning/organizing fairy when you need her?
