Sneak Peek #2

These two had character! I think the older one thought I was a complete dork when I said peek-a-boo from behind the camera. Just prior I'd said "now, am I going to have to do to you what I do to little babies?" he was not amused, but I think he got into it later ;)

Just a note...

With the contest underway I know there will be lots of new people looking and checking things out so I thought I should say a little something about me and my photography...I've been a professional photographer for over 3 years now with an ever evolving style. I have three little girls of my own who are photographed more than they'd like to be I'm sure ;)  I am not a traditional photographer. My goal is to capture "who" is being photographed, not how they are being "posed" My style is casual, journalistic, and sometimes quirky. I want to capture your children being children not being forced to sit in front of a camera.

I offer several unique items through my boutique collection and specialize in creating custom story boards as well as announcements and Christmas cards.

Please feel free to ask questions!

FRESH FACES!!!

Is your little one model material? You don't want to miss this exciting opportunity! Introducing the Fresh Faces contest! If you have a child between the ages of newborn and 5 years old and you think they are photogenic (and cooperative), please enter a snapshot for the contest. Non-professional photos only, please! Submit your images from now until May 31st.

After the deadline, images will be narrowed down to 10 by a group of professional photographers, and those 10 finalists will then be posted here on the blog and voted on by the general public. The THREE models with the most votes will win!

So, what do you win?? A complimentary session and 11x14 mounted print! Sound interested? There's more! By entering, you agree that I will have complete creative control over the session, I will help choose the clothing, and even bring a few accessories.

You are not required to purchase any additional images, but you can if you'd like. Sessions will take place in the Longmont, Colorado area as soon as the weather permits us to go outside, which as anyone knows can be touch and go here in CO! (I may even decide to come to your house) You will be contacted after winning to make arrangements.

The seven remaining finalists will also receive a complimentary 5x7 if they choose to book a session by August 31st 2007.

Please email us with a recent snapshot of your child to be considered. Please include the name and current age of your child, as well as your address and phone number. If you are entering more than one child, please send in individual images. This is all in preparation for the upcoming 'official' website!

Stats...

Well I accidentally deleted the stats counter I had on my blog...ugh! You know, those cute little numbers or otherwise identifying markers that say how many people world-wide have taken the time to visit your little blog world. ;)

So now I've fixed it...BUT...I'm back to 000000 Kinda stinks since my stats were over 62,000...Oh well...what can you do?

In other news Natalie got her hair cut (BTW I would like a disclaimer on these photos...I did NOTHING to proof them before posting...bad photog mom) lol

And on another note: The Fresh Faces contest should be ready to go tomorrow...I'm just finalizing some details!
